Tripura Chief Minister Shri Manik Saha launched the CM SATH Yojana and on this occasion, he provided information about this scheme. Through this scheme, the government will provide financial assistance in the form of scholarship to the top 100 students who pass the secondary and higher secondary (10+2) board examinations with maximum marks from the schools under the state education board. Under this scheme, scholarship incentive benefits will be given to the top 100 secondary level students and top 100 higher secondary examination students. Under this, every beneficiary student will be given a scholarship amount of Rs 5,000 every month by the Tripura government, which will be for their further studies.

The main objective of this scheme started by the Tripura government is to identify talented students in the state and provide them financial incentives for further studies. - The Tripura government will spend Rs 3.00 crore annually for the successful operation of this scheme. For the first year of this scheme i.e. 2024-25, the government has allocated Rs 1.2 crore from the state budget, while during the second year of the scheme i.e. 2025-26, Rs 2.4 crore will be spent on it.
Selection Process
The selection process of students under CM SATH Yojana has also been clarified and students performing well from all districts of the state will be given scholarship under this. According to the information given by the state government, 152 students will be selected from the block level under CM Saath Yojana. 12 beneficiaries will be selected from the Nagar Panchayat areas of the state, while 26 students will be selected from the Municipal Corporation areas. Apart from these, 10 beneficiaries will be selected from Agartala Municipal Corporation area. All the work of the selection process will be done under the supervision of the District Education Officer.
Eligibility Criteria
To avail the benefits of this scheme, students have to score the highest marks in the board exams of secondary and higher secondary. Only then, they will be able to avail the benefits under it. The eligibility conditions set by the government for the CM SATH scheme can be understood from the points given below.
- The student and his/her family should have their original/permanent residence in the state of Tripura.
- The student should be pursuing secondary or higher secondary education from a government education institution.
- The student should have secured top 100 rank in the secondary and higher secondary board exams.
- Using the scholarship amount under CM SATH, the beneficiaries will have to pursue further studies in the courses prescribed under the National Education Policy from a recognized education institution.
- The student should not be getting scholarship benefit from any other similar scheme.

Application Process Under CM SATH Scheme 2024
To avail the benefits of CM SATH Scheme, students will have to apply through their educational institution. For this, they will have to go to their educational institution and duly fill the application form and submit it to their principal. After that further action will be taken by the principal and the application form will be sent to the District Education Officer.
