New farmers can register themselves on the official portal by visiting pmkisan.gov.in. The registration process can be done by completing the below steps.
- Go to the official website of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme.
- The home page of the portal will open on your device.
- On the top right corner, you have to click on New Farmers Registration.
- The New Farmer registration form will appear on your screen.
- Select either Rural Farmer Registration or Urban Farmer Registration as per your residence location.
- Enter your Aadhar number, mobile number, and select the state you belong to.
- Fill in the captcha code and click on the Get OTP button.
- Next, enter the OTP received on your phone and click Submit.
- On the next screen, provide mandatory details in designated fields and complete the registration.

PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Offline Application Process
Eligible farmers can submit their application offline under PM Kisan. For this, they have to visit the nearest Common Service Centre and submit necessary documents. The process to submit an offline application for PM Kisan involves the following steps.
- Go to the nearest CSC centre with your documents.
- Talk to the operator, who will then start the process.
- The operator/VLE (Village Level Entrepreneur) will fill in the information in the online portal.
- Information includes your personal details such as your name, mobile number, complete address such as your state, district, sub-district, village, etc., Aadhar number, category, bank account details such as bank account number, IFSC, land holding details such as survey/kahta no., khasra no., and area of land as mentioned in land holding papers.
- After the above details are filled in successfully, your documents will be uploaded.
- Documents include a copy of the Aadhar Card, landholding documents, and bank passbook.
- Then thereafter, the operator/VLE will accept the declaration and save the application.
- Now, payment will be done through the CSC ID.
- After all the above procedures are completed, you can track your application status using Aadhar or the registered mobile number.
