On victory in the state assembly election, and after sworning in as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, the Thalliki Vandanam Scheme has been launched. This is an education assistance scheme managed to provide financial support of INR 15,000 annually to all eligible students studying in standard I to 12. The scheme will be operationalized across the state encompassing all districts in Andhra Pradesh. This scheme will incentivize those children who come from low income or financial backward families.

Thalliki Vandanam scheme will provide financial support to each eligible school going children in Andhra Pradesh. The scheme will encourage students at primary and secondary level of education to attend the school regularly and become regular part of the learning process. Selection Process Under Thalliki Vandanam Scheme 2024
The selection process of the scheme is conditioned with clearing the eligibility criteria by the students. If students fulfil the following conditions without fail, they will be selected and will receive the financial support for education from the State government of Andhra Pradesh.
