Andhra Pradesh Government Launched NTR Bharosa Pension Scheme in the state. To provide monthly financial support and provide social security to old-age citizens, widows, disabled citizens, citizens suffering from some chronic disease, etc., CM Chandrababu Naidu launched the NTR Bharosa Pension Scheme 2024 in Andhra Pradesh. This scheme has been launched by merging all state-sponsored social security schemes in the state. This is the updated version of the Andhra Pradesh Social Security Scheme to offer financial support to those citizens who are socially backward and financially unstable.

Launch of NTR Bharosa Pension Scheme in Andhra Pradesh

The NTR Bharosa Pension is the latest version of social security pensions launched to assimilate and integrate all social security pension schemes in Andhra Pradesh into one scheme. This scheme includes pensions for senior citizens, widows, toddy tappers, weavers, single women, fishermen, ART (PLHIV) persons, traditional Cobblers, transgender, Dappu artists, etc. Citizens from these categories will receive a monthly pension of INR 4,000 from the government. Pension to Disabled Persons and Multi Deformity Leprosy Persons has been increased to Rs. 6,000/- per month. Fully disabled citizens will be offered a monthly social assistance of INR 10,000 from the NTR Bharosa Pension Scheme. Eligible citizens who are not covered under any pension scheme can submit their application through the proper channel.
