Eligibility Criteria for AP Post Matric Scholarship Scheme
- The applicant must be a permanent citizen in Andhra Pradesh.
- The students must belong to SC/ST/BC/EBC/ Kapu/Minority/ or differently abled
- All the students who are admitted to ITI, Polytechnic, Degree, and above courses in government/aided/private colleges affiliated to state universities/boards are eligible.
- Day Scholar students, students in college-attached hostels (CAH), and department-attached hostels (DAH) are eligible.
- Students must mandatorily maintain 75% of the aggregate attendance to avail of the scholarship benefits.
- The total family annual income must be less than or equal to INR 2.50 lakhs.
- The total land holding of the family should be less than 10 acres of wet land, 25 acres of dry land, or 25 acres of both dry and wet land together.
- No member of the family should be a government servant or pensioner (Sanitation workers are exempted and they are eligible).
- No member of the family should own a four-wheeler (except taxis, tractors, and autos).
- Students belonging to a family having no property or less than 1500 sq. ft. of built-up area (residential or commercial) in urban areas are eligible.
- No member of the family should be an income tax payee.

Application Process for AP Post Matric Scholarship Scheme
To avail of the scholarship benefits, students are required to submit the duly filled-out application form along with necessary documents to the principal of their respective institution. One can download the PMS application form in pdf format and take the printout for further proceedings at the institution. The application process includes the following steps to be done at the time of admission:.
- For the first, download the application form of AP PMS Scheme or get it from your institution.
- Fill in all the parts of the application form, including the parts comprising of personal details, college admission details, income-related details, scholarship details, caste certificate details, and bank account details of the mother or legal guardian.
- Attach a copy of all the necessary documents after filling out the application form properly.
- Once all the above steps are done, submit your application to the principal.
Post Application Process
- The college principal will verify all details provided in the application form and make online entry of the applicant’s details on the Jnanabhumi portal at the time of admission.
- After online entry is completed, students will receive a confirmation notification regarding successful submission of their application.
- After the above processes are done, students are required to visit the MeeSeva centre for further necessary action.
- Visit the nearest MeeSeva centre and provide your Jnanabhumi application ID and Aadhar number to gain access to your application form online.
