Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant should be a child/ward of the building and other construction workers in Odisha.
- The construction worker should be registered with the Odisha Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board for at least 1 year.
- Scholarship assistance is extended only to two children of a construction worker.
- Only girl children shall receive the scholarship benefits for Class 6th and 7th.
- Scholarship extends to boy students from 8th grade onwards.
Pre-requisites
- The registered construction worker should have made regular, up-to-date contributions to the Odisha Building and Other Construction Worker Welfare Board.
- A scholarship will be granted after the successful completion of an academic year.
- At least 50% annual attendance of the student in a class is mandatory for that academic year.
- The construction worker should have an active bank account with DBT enabled for electronic fund transfers in his/her name.

Nirman Shramik Kalyan Yojana: Apply Online 2024
- Students are required to register themselves at the official scholarship portal first, then they can proceed with the online application.
- Visit the official scholarship portal of the Odisha Government, i.e., https://scholarship.odisha.gov.in/.
- On the home screen, navigate to the Login dropdown and then select Student Login.
- Next, click on the Register Here option, and you will reach the registration window.
- Tick the declaration box and click on the Proceed button.
- On the next screen, provide your Aadhar number and verify the same with OTP authentication.
- Once you are done with the above step, the online registration form will appear on your screen.
