Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi initiated the CM Kisan Scheme in the state to supplement farmers income so that they could remain intact in agricultural operations even in the absence of finance. The scheme provides monetary support of INR 4,000 in two equal installments to small and marginal farmers. All farmers who have less than 2 hectares of cultivable land are considered small and marginal farmers. Through the CM Kisan Yojana, the government of Odisha also provides financial assistance to landless agricultural households (LAHs). The benefit provided to LAHs is INR 12,500 per annum in three installments. Landless agricultural households are those who earn their livelihood from farming but do not have cultivable land in their names.

The government of Odisha launched this portal to provide ease of access to CM Kisan beneficiaries of the state. This portal contains all necessary data and information and provides a one-stop solution for registration under the PM Kisan and CM Kisan Odisha schemes. - Visit the official CMKisan Portal of Odisha government at https://cmkisan.odisha.gov.in/
- On doing so, you will reach the home page of the website.
- On the home page, tap on the Farmer Registration option to proceed with registration.
- A new page will appear on your screen.
- On this page, you are required to read instructions, tick the declaration box, and tap Proceed.
